This month's MP3 The Frogs - Talkin' Pact With The Devil Blues Guitar - Jimmy Drums/Vocals - Dennis Bass - Ben Lee Recorded Live at The Knitting Factory, NYC, on September 28, 2001 At the end of September 2001, we reported the following: It's Not Easy Being Green Ben made an impromptu appearance at the Knitting Factory in New York City this past Friday, filling in on bass with The Frogs. The band's bass player, Beezer, was unexpectedly unable to fly in for the show, and with two hours warning, the band hurried over and taught Ben eight songs. At the show, Ben sported an orange feather boa, Dennis painted his face red, white and blue, and Jimmy dressed up as Uncle Sam with angel wings. The stage was covered with american flags. This newly international incarnation of the band played "I Feel The Earth Move," as well as Frogs classics like "Homos" and "Drugs." Ben reports simply, "It was amazing."
